Zendor Launches the New Online Face of the tote

Manchester-based Zendor, the UK’s leading fulfilment and e-business expert, announces the launch of major UK bookmaker the tote’s brand new corporate website ( http://corporate.totesport.com ) and new look betting website ( www.totesport.com ). The new sites went live in March 2004 ahead of the Cheltenham Festival.

These websites are fundamental to the tote’s brand re-development initiative, ensuring that online, high street and phone operations are fully integrated with each other and the rest of the organisation. Zendor worked closely with the tote and leading brand developers Fitch, to ensure a successful implementation, reflecting the visual identity of the tote and also the underlying brand values. This brand ‘DNA’ underpinned Zendor’s usability-led web design and development project.

The new brand reaffirms the tote’s position in the marketplace as an exciting, dynamic and assertive company, and the corporate website now portrays the tote as a leading edge betting company and as a FTSE quality organisation in the drive to privatisation. Zendor’s usability-led design approach in conjunction with input from the tote has ensured that the full scope of the tote brand offerings are met without compromising creativity or usability, whilst ensuring that the tote’s media and financial site visitors’ needs are met.

The re-skinning of the totesport betting website, a partnership production between Zendor and totesport, creates a synergy between the two sites, and provides a clean, uncluttered, barrier-free site for the tote customers.
